Practical Tongue Acupuncture 

Introduction

          Chinese version of Practical Tongue Acupuncture has just been published by People’s Military Medical Press, one of the largest and most creditable medical presses in China.  Practical Tongue Acupuncture will be the first monograph about tongue acupuncture treatment in the history of the Chinese Medicine and World’s medicine.

          The book shows systematic discussions in basic study, clinical application and modern scientific research achievements of the tongue acupuncture treatment.  It will also be the first time to show the public the full tongue acupoints map.  In addition, the book not only describes the correspondence between the acupoints and human body’s anatomy picture, but also tells us a new finding in the relationship between brain disorders and plica sublingualis swelling appeared under the tongue.

           The publication of Practical Tongue Acupuncture is the latest conclusion of the tongue acupuncture treatment.  As further studies having been carrying out, they have proven that the tongue acupuncture treatment is able to help patients improve their intelligence (promotion of intelligence of patients with mental retardation, autism and even normal children), tantrum as well as motor functions(spasm, varus and hanging heel of those suffered from cerebral palsy and stroke).  On the other hand, Prof. Sun also shares his experience in helping patients revive from coma (caused by stroke, car accident and traumatic brain injury); improve endocrine function (health care, anti-aging), visual function, auditory function, vocal cords and so on.
